Legal
Onezise is currently an informal collaborative team, not a registered company or legal entity. This page exists to be transparent about who we are, what we make, and how our creative work should be treated — not to assert formal corporate legal standing. As our roadmap grows, formal registration is part of our future plans.
01 Who We Are
Onezise is a collaborative group of people who share a passion for game development. We work together as a team to create games, digital experiences, and online content under the shared name Onezise Studios.
We are based in Finland and operate the website onezise.com, where we share our projects, development updates, and community content. Everything we build is a team effort — driven by creativity and a genuine love for the craft.
02 Our Current Status
At this stage of our journey, Onezise is not a formally registered business, company, or legal entity. We are a group of collaborators working together informally under a shared creative identity.
This means that formal legal structures — such as incorporation, limited liability, or registered trademarks — are not currently in place. We are honest about this because we believe transparency with our community matters more than projecting a corporate image we haven't yet built.
Formal registration is on our roadmap and will happen as the team and our projects grow to that point. Until then, this page reflects where we genuinely stand.
03 Creative Ownership
Everything created under the Onezise name — game concepts, artwork, characters, code, writing, and visual identity — belongs collectively to the people in the team who made it. We take our creative work seriously and ask that others respect it accordingly.
| Work | Type | Made By |
|---|---|---|
| Voluntary Rescue Finland | Game concept, art, code | Onezise Team |
| Bike Experience | Game concept, art, code | Onezise Team |
| Burger Clicker | Game concept, art, code | Onezise Team |
| Onezise Mascot (Zise) | Original character & artwork | Onezise Team |
| Onezise name & logo | Brand identity | Onezise Team |
We're not in a position to formally enforce these rights through registered trademarks or corporate litigation right now — and we're upfront about that. What we do ask is simple: please don't pass off our work as your own, use our name to represent something we're not part of, or use our games or art commercially without talking to us first.
Fan art, community content, and tribute work are always welcome and appreciated. Just make clear it's fan-made and not official Onezise output.
04 Our Work & Content
Our games are passion projects shared with the community. By playing or engaging with our games and website content, we ask that you:
- Don't redistribute or repackage our games as your own work.
- Don't reverse-engineer or rip assets from our games for use elsewhere without asking us.
- Don't use the Onezise name or our game titles to promote unrelated products or services.
- Don't use our content in any way intended to deceive, mislead, or harm others.
These aren't legal threats — we just genuinely care about what we're building and who it's associated with. If you want to do something with our work, just reach out. We're a friendly team and the answer is probably yes.
05 Third-Party Content
Our games and website may make use of third-party tools, engines, libraries, fonts, and assets. Where these are used, we do so in accordance with their respective licences. Any required attributions are included within the relevant projects.
References to other games, brands, or products on our website are purely descriptive or editorial. They don't imply any partnership, endorsement, or affiliation with those parties.
All third-party names, logos, and trademarks mentioned anywhere on this site remain the property of their respective owners.
06 Website Use
Our website is shared openly with the community. We just ask that you use it in good faith. Please don't attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or misuse the site in ways that would affect others' ability to enjoy it.
Links to external sites (such as Discord, Steam, or social platforms) lead to services with their own terms. We have no control over those platforms and aren't responsible for what happens there.
07 No Warranties
Everything we put out — our website, games, and content — is provided as-is. We're a small team doing our best, and while we take quality seriously, we can't make any guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or the absence of bugs.
Games currently in development (like Voluntary Rescue Finland) are works in progress and will change over time. What's shown today may look different tomorrow — that's just the nature of building things.
We're not liable for any issues that arise from using our site or games. We do care though, so if something is broken or wrong, please tell us.
